About the project:

The bruises and insults, the small details of the arrests; these are what constructs our direct and painful exposure to the suppression of the Palestinians’ freedom of speech and right to protest. These are the photographs and memories not covered by the media or books, and which occupy people’s minds. At times, these details prevent people from exercising their natural right to resist injustice, and at other times, they strengthen people’s need and impulse to once again protest against injustice, despite the intensifying of oppression and violence.

What do we do in this project? We look for the moments rooted in our memories, without underestimating the strength and defiance of those who stand against Israeli oppression, nor their human weaknesses.
